Explore Credit Unions INTERACTIVE
Filter U.S. credit unions by reporting period, asset size, and state, and watch the chart update live. Each bubble is one credit union: horizontal position is lending intensity (loan-to-shares), vertical is capital strength (net worth ratio), bubble size is total assets, and color is return on assets (red = negative, green = strong).

How this works. This page loads a compact data file for the selected period and does all
filtering in your browser — no live database. Data refreshes each quarter when new Call Reports are published.
Loan-to-Shares = total loans ÷ total shares. Net Worth Ratio is as reported. ROA = year-to-date net income ÷ total assets.
Historical coverage. Periods run from 1994 to the present: annual (year-end)
through 2015, then quarterly. Assets, loans, shares, members, and 60+ day delinquency are available for every
period. A few measures aren't reported in the earliest filings — net worth ratio is unavailable
before 2000 and net income before 1999 — so for pre-2000 periods those bubbles (and the chart's
vertical axis) are empty while the table below still lists each credit union's assets, loans, and delinquency.
